XDSOFT became one of the winners of the "DEVELOPMENT-NTI" competition

On November 6, 2020, the Innovation Promotion Fund's directorate approved the results of the sixth round of the "Development-NTI" competition.

XDSOFT won a grant for a project to develop an automatic external camera calibration system for tracking and navigation tasks in logistics and autonomous transport.

The system's main purpose is to automatically match the position of objects in video footage with their corresponding geographic coordinates. The system being developed addresses the following tasks:

• Automatic alignment of surveillance camera images with geographic coordinates;
• Functionality to convert image pixels to geographic coordinates and vice versa;
• Mapping the routes of moving objects;
• Detecting objects against complex, dynamic backgrounds;
• Continuous tracking of a moving object by a group of geographically linked surveillance cameras;
• Visualization of "invisible" objects in the video stream.

Applications for the competition were accepted from April 29, 2020, to June 15, 2020. A total of 419 applications were submitted across 8 NTI roadmaps.
