A solo exhibition by the head of XDSOFT's design studio was held in Moscow

In the "BOMBA" gallery, a solo exhibition by Leta Dobrovolskaya, the head of XDSOFT's design studio and an artist, took place.

The works for the project, titled FLORIDURA, were created over almost three years, with more than a year spent in isolation in a forest village. The musical accompaniment, reminiscent of womb-like sounds, was composed by Vladislav Dobrovolsky and was a standout feature of the exhibition.

"This project is about the future, about what likely awaits us. Humanity has relentlessly exploited nature throughout its existence, and now, it is clear that nature is pushing back. What lies ahead... I believe we have two paths: either we modify ourselves and become part of the ecosystem, or we hide in shelters, paying tribute to the cult of Floridura," Leta shared about the exhibition’s central concept.

Visitors were treated to an author-led tour, during which they had the opportunity to interact with the creator, ask questions, and discuss the unusual objects on display. These included modified eye-like flowers, trees, a unique spider, various embroideries, installations, and an altar to Floridura—complete with tentacles that seemed to reach everywhere.

"Everything will change. The only constant will be the stars. Even in the new future, we will still have the sky. FLORIDURA is my reflection on the pandemic and the growing realization that humanity is not the ruler of nature but, rather, its victim," Leta Dobrovolskaya concluded.
