Leta Dobrovolskaya, Head of the Design Studio, Teaches UX Design Course at MAI

For an entire semester, Leta Dobrovolskaya, the head of the design studio, delivered lectures on UX design to students at the Moscow Aviation Institute (MAI). UX stands for User Experience, referring to the process of creating design layouts that consider not only the visual appeal of a project but also its usability for users.

During the classes, students described their startup projects, including hypotheses, user journey research, and rough estimates of costs and monetization strategies. The course program also covered essential professional aspects, discussing the role of analytics in UX, design thinking tools, user behavior modeling, the phenomenon of visual perception, A/B testing mathematics, and more.

Leta Dobrovolskaya on the course: "I delved deeper into the material while preparing for the lectures, reading many books and processing a large volume of information on this topic. I also gained experience speaking in front of a challenging audience. Students are different from adults; they tire quickly and lose interest. It was important to provide practical assignments alongside theory, organize interactive activities, and even incorporate games. Yes, it took a lot of time and effort to prepare, but it was a very valuable and interesting experience for me."

In addition, Leta received the nomination for "Lecturer of the Year 2019."
