Corporate social networks — a growing trend in the corporate sector
On September 25, 2015, XDSOFT, in collaboration with IBM, hosted a business breakfast focused on the prospects and opportunities for using corporate social networks (CSNs) in various business segments, including HR, external and internal communications departments, knowledge and quality management divisions, and more. Real-world examples were demonstrated using IBM Connections and related products like IBM Files, Docs, Sametime, XPages, as well as the newly introduced IBM Verse.
The event brought together several dozen experts from integrators, vendors, partner companies, and representatives from corporate sectors, including Sberbank, Rosinterbank, OTP Bank, Rosatom, Rostelecom, Oriflame Cosmetics, Selgros, and others. They discussed how CSNs could address business challenges such as collaborative document work, knowledge retention, the creation of unified controlled information spaces, employee engagement and retention, and building a cohesive corporate culture.
During the event, XDSOFT showcased examples of CSN projects they implemented in the banking, retail, and government sectors. Experts also shared insights on the future and benefits of CSNs across different industries. Attendees had the opportunity to share their practical experiences and engage in discussions on the latest trends in the Russian and global IT markets.
According to XDSOFT representative and event host, Lyubov Krasyuk, the event was highly productive in terms of discussions and provided valuable feedback from business representatives. "We plan to continue hosting similar events in the future, as they allow clients and IT developers to communicate in an informal setting, identify pain points, and work together to find solutions," said Lyubov Krasyuk.
