XDSOFT Presents One of the Largest Projects in Europe

On October 16-17, a conference was held in Vienna focused on the application of IBM Connections—a solution for building corporate social media.

During the two-day event, dozens of speakers shared their experiences using IBM's solution, discussing its technical and social capabilities while engaging in informal conversations.

XDSOFT representative and analyst Anatoly Kireev presented the experience of implementing an intranet portal and corporate social network based on IBM's developments for PJSC Rostelecom.

"Rostelecom" is the largest telecommunications company in the Russian Federation, with branches in nearly every region of the country and over 140,000 employees who require constant interaction. The internal portal and corporate social network aim to enhance the efficiency of information exchange among employees from various departments, creating a unified information space and providing standardized technologies for publishing and managing information resources. Additionally, the portal offers personalized access to corporate data, services, and applications.

The creation of the corporate portal based on IBM Connections has become one of the largest projects in Europe by the number of users of the corporate social network.
